THE ROMANS

Tom Roman the black had a younger brother, Doldrum Roman.

Maherite was the daughter of Dildrum, son of Doldrum. She was known by one of the Nobles, Ed, and gave him two daughters: Maherite and Chamomille.

Tom had a son, Grimalkin, who was called Leon, and lived in Verona.

Leon was known as an Elf lord of an Elfin domain, the land of Sycia.

Among the elves he was called Sphecus, and he faught in black armour.

This was Sphecus the Tertius.

Now, there was also another family, the Parvos, whose youngster was Olivius.

Olivius was father of Carol, whose son was Isen. And Isen's mother was Virginia of the Nobles.

(She might have been distant relative of Ed Noble, though the cognomen Noble was really common one among the elves)

Through Flavia Philippa, Isen first met Maharet (the daughter).

At that time, Maherit was Fredenando's amica, and Fredenandus invited Isen to the party of his graduation as a Bachallarus.

It happened that Maherite's sister was at the graduation cerimony too, and later on at the party.

Thus was how Isen came to meet Chamomille.
